I have one of those industrial type aluminum grounded 6' long multiple
120vac outlets screwed to the side of one of my L shaped computer desks in
the basement where some of my equipment is plugged into. I have a 12' one I
haven't installed yet (was going to run it along the back wall in the
basement). I have the surge strips I was talking about plugged into them
along with other gear. I have over a dozen machines and assorted gear
connected and setup to run with the flick of a switch.
