I don't know about your IQ/OZ-7000 models, but I do know that the SL5500
and SL5000D sharp PDAs differed mostly in that the SL-5000D was the
developer's version. The SL5500 came with a bit more ROM/RAM and a
later version of Linux (yes, I said Linux - way cool), but other than
that they are pretty much the same. So, maybe it is something like
that. Also, Sharp seems to have different model numbers between
English/Japanese versions of things.
