Because for some of us it's not a religious question, and neither
Intel nor MS are Satan. Even Microsoft is only a problem when they
occupy production hardware.
MS will abandon I enough people move off MS computers, *and* enough
people buy XBoxes, production computing that much faster. If you look
at it in terms of profit focus, Gary actually *contributed* to the
demise of Windows by buying the XBox.
