1953 to 2003 has been the lowest hurricane in recorded history. Granted the
records get scetchy prior to the mid 1800's but the numbers have seen
indicate that this year is NOT above a long term historical norm. The
question is not so much is this year anomolus in terms of history, but
rather the start of a long term trend [think of the impact on the economy
down there if it is.....]
