Mike and I nearly lost control of a VAX 11/785 we were unloading on a lift
gate. The lift gate was basically the same size as the 11/785 footprint,
and the VAX has castors, and the truck wasn't as level as we'd have liked.
Gravity tried really hard to get it to roll off the lift gate, in which
case it would have seriously maimed or even killed us. Fortunately we
were not injured (nor was the VAX), but we decided that it takes a minimum
of three people to safely unload an 11/785 using a lift gate.

On another occasion we did have an AS/400 rack roll off a lift gate. :-(
