Please don't. I can't think of anything lower that one can do on a
mailing list. The whole point of a private reply is because the person
sending the message at least has enough respect for the rest of the list
members to not carry on a pointless thread and to keep any flame wars off
the list. By bringing it back to the list, not only do you violate the
sender's privacy, you also show contempt for the rest of the people on the
list, escalate the flames, and least of all you continue a pointless
thread. And there's nothing to be gained. You will not score any
superiority points. You will only make yourself look like a bigger
asshole than you think the sender is.

Gladly, the message you attempted to forward to the list didn't make it.
