.WAV is not screwed up. I am not a Microsoft advocate, not by a
longshot, but I don't understand the views on this group that .WAV
files are screwed up. The format definition clearly has an (R)IFF
FORM chunk for compression type; it has always been part of the
spec. If people want to complain about MP3 data embedded in .WAV
files, complain about the person who created them!
