Equivalent is system
If you don;t have it, depending on the model [I own a microVax II]
boot up in admin mode [on mine it's I think b /s]
when at the sysgen prompt set UAFALTERNATE to true, then any password
should work. May be totaly different for your Vax however.

I cool thing to check out is NetBSD Vax... Groovy free Unix for
Vaxine.

The things on the back... serial ports for terminals????
