   No, the P model *IS* a parallel version. The pin outs for the connector
are in the owner's manual but I don't have a copy of it.

 Here's the breakdown of the various models:

  2225A HP-IB Interface, AC powered
  2225B HP-IL Interface, battery powered
  2225C Parallel Interface, AC powered
  2225C RS-232 Serial Interface, AC powered
  2225P Parallel Interface, battery powered
