You're asking if somebody is willing to pay the asking price for a machine
which has just been announced as available to this list? If the answer is
yes, the machine will be gone. If the answer is no, it will still be
available to you.

FWIW, a Lisa 2 went for $1500 on eBay not too long ago (probably to
somebody who didn't know the difference).
