A language card was also required to run UCSD Pascal (which required 64K).
Another C compiler you may want to drive yourself insane with is Aztec C.
Quite possibly the worst C implementation ever, it took me almost 2
minutes to compile a "Hello World" program. I quickly went back to BASIC
and machine language.
