Actually, Green founded Byte first, lost it in a reportedly rather
nasty divorce combined with a fight with the senior editor, then
started up Kilobaud. Eventually he sold off his magazine empire,
but got "73" back when the new publishers didn't know what to do
with it. Obviously they didn't know what to do with computer
magazines either, since I don't think any of them lasted more than
a year after the sale.
