Because TMS1000's are still made last I checked. The 4004 has been
"obsolete" for a while, it is known as the first microprocessor, it's the
ancestor of the MPU used in the ubiquitous PC, and it comes in that cool
white ceramic case. Not to mention the challenge of finding them -- sort
of a large scale hide and seek game.

They're not as interesting as working computers, but they're more
interesting than most other obsolete MPU's. Personally, I don't make much
of an effort to collect CPU's, but I do try to collect the docs for them,
and I'm still looking for an MCS-4 manual or copy thereof (or scan, Eric).
