SlashDot (http://www.slashdot.org) is an e-zine devoted to technology
news (with a strong Linux slant). Their motto is "News for Nerds...
Stuff that Matters".

A number of times in the past, servers have been overwhelmed following
the posting of a URL in a slashdot article. This effect is known as
"slashdotting". So, to be slashdotted means to have ones site swamped
following a mention on slashdot.

The NT part is probably a reference to the stability of an NT-based
server to the SlashDot Effect.
