Recent Finds & Thoughts

A friend of mine gave me several Corvus Systems devices that he indicated
were used on Apple computers. He indicated one was called a server, and
don't recall the others. Anyone know what these things might be?

I'm slowly finding out about the many varieties of Apple //e computers. So
far, I have found four different styles including one with the built-in
numeric keyboard, with the main differences being case styles. Also got one
Apple //e along with four Apple //c computers today.

In the load today also came quite a lot of Heathkit/Zenith documentation to
go along with recent computers that have come in.

Another thing that I was given a couple of days ago was Umax UC840 color
scanner. So far I don't have docs, and no idea (yet) of how to use it.
However, it seems like it would be a great way to scan in documentation!

Having *finally* gotten a CD-R unit hooked up, it occurred to me that
perhaps recording all the cassette data tapes to CD would be a worthwhile
thing to do. Has anyone else tried this? I would think it would be trivial
to hook up a stereo to computers, and thus load both data and programs.
