Here are the basic variations of the Apple //e:

Rev Keycaps Letters Mem CPU Notes
--- -------- ------- ---- ----- ----------------------------------
1 Beige White 64K 6502 Not capable of double hi-res mode
 2 Grey Black 64K 6502 Double hi-res with 128K
 3 Grey Black 128K 65c02 Enhanced
4 Platinum Black 128K 65c02 "Platinum" model, numeric keypad

Each subsequent model carried over the added features of the previous
model. All models could be expanded to 128K and beyond in the auxiliary
port, but the first ones shipped with only a 64K/80-column card. Note
that the revision isn't necessarily the actual motherboard revision
number, just a sequence number for the purposes of the chart.

There's also the Super ][. It was basically the prototype //e. Only
about 100 are known to exist. That's the only one I'm missing from my
collection unfortunately :)
