I need to take a look at the guts to check those things out What I am
finding is:

Style 1 - Top cover has a "velcro" style latch
Style 2 - Top cover has what appears to be shielding along the back side
with aluminum bottom
Style 3 - Top cover has what appears to be shielding along the back side
with steel bottom
Style 4 - Has a numeric keypad built into the case

Additionally on the early machines, there seem to be two styles of keycaps
with large and small Apple Icons.

I know, I have too much time on my hands :).
