Yep!

If you take the printer off line, and then depress the test button, it
should print a summary of it's current settings.

It's been a long time, but I'm pretty sure that the LA210 has a DTE RS232
interface - like a VT220. If you would expect to use a null-modem connector
on your serial port to attach a VT to it, you should do likewise for this
printer.
Some of the DIP switch settings you may find useful:
Switch A:
A2 down - Disables modem control
A2 up - Enables modem control
A6 down - Disables auto-Xon/Xoff
A6 up - Enables auto-Xon/Xoff
Switch B:
Baud Rate:
B1 B2 B3 B4 B5*
D D D D D 50
U D D D D 75
D U D D D 110
U U D D D 134.5
D D U D D 150

D U U D U 600 T/2400 R

* Switch B5 selects equal (D) or unequal (U) Transmit and Receive rates.
Parity:
B6 B7 (7 data bits) (8 data bits)
D D Space No parity
U D Mark No parity
D U Even Parity Even Parity
U U Odd Parity Odd Parity
B8 Up - Selects 8 data bits per character
B8 Down - Selects 7 data bits per character
I'm not sure you'll find any online docs for it, as I seem to recall
searching for a long time when I got an LA210 a while ago with no luck; I
was, however, lucky enough to find a manual (eventually), so if you've
got any specific questions, drop me a line.
Simon.
