What's wrong with putting the PDP-1 at the top of the list? Also, there
are several people that would happily trade an Altair 8800 (or two) for a
straight PDP-8.

If you're going to include the Xerox Alto, I think I'd prefer even a lowly
Xerox Star to an Altair. :-)
