Maybe it's because as a kid I went to too many weekend firehouse-auctions
with my dad (rural Pennsylvania), but there's nothing like being amped up
on 6 cups of coffee and hot dog phosphates and raising your paddle, all
shaky from caffeine, while trying to translate genuine American auctioneer
gibberish...
