Well, I was not part of either of the RCS/RI System 3x moving parties.
Sorry.

Looking at the S/34 however, it looks like taking heavy bits out might
just be a real pain in the butt.

One interesting chunk of trivia is that IBM actually put some thought into
deciding how big to make these machines. They had their engineers make the
box so it could be moved around inside "standard" office building
elevators, as they did not want to screw themselves out of sales just
because of a few inches.
