I'm beginning to think that there should be a card to plug into the two 40
or so pin headers, and that this card is what actually provides the SPX
graphics the machine supposedly had. It's not there.

I'll contact the person the machine came from to find out what the deal is
with that; in the meanwhile I'll keep trying to scrounge up a cable I can
use to connect a serial console.
