In other words, you feel that there is no way in which the chording
approach is worse than the regular keyboard? The reason why I ask is that
I've read an article about Doug Engelbart where he was quoted as saying
that it has its advantages.

I'm planning to design a specialized home computer which will have a
keyboard, mouse, and cat (Chording ATtachment).
