   There's a lot of difference in alcohols. Rubbing alcohol is mainly
Isopropyl alcohol. Denatured alcohol is mainly ethyl alcohol. There are
MANY other kinds of alcohol and some will harm paint and some won't. Best
to test some on a out of the way spot first.
