I picked up another board at the bazaar and before it goes into the dark
recesses of storage, just curious if anyone knows what this thing is. The
only markings on the board are "Super Computer Inc. Extended Buffer Bd." It
has no chips or documentation with it although there are places for 4 twenty
pin ICs, and someone has inserted some wire-wrap pin sockets into a few of
the holes in the board. I am guessing it is for an Apple, but don't know for
sure.
Another board that I picked up is a John Bell Engineering 6502
Microcomputer. At this point, I don't know if it works, and a couple of the
chips are missing including the EPROM. I have the docs for the 2716 EPROM
programmer, but didn't find the board.
Another board looks like some type of evaluation board as it has about a 2 x
3 prototyping area on the board. Most of the chips are missing (as are the
docs) but the one chip that looks like a processor (AMD 8612) and an EPROM
are in place. Judging by the silkscreen on the board, it uses a +5, +12, and
-12 volt supply.
Also picked up an unopened Signetics Linear Products package that also
contains a box of chips.
Another interesting package contained the evaluation programming PCB for the
Motorola MC68705 Series of processors. The package looked like it might have
contained the MC68705 evaluation PCB at one time, but I don't know for sure.
Also picked up a good size box of ICs. Of course I was hoping to find a box
or tube of 4004 or 8008 microprocessors, but no such luck :).
