A PCB standard based on 16x10 cm cards - it's that simple,
but the impact on standardisation is enormus.
(As variation there is double height (300 mm) and
double length (220mm), Also there are two main
connector types - a 96/64 pin connectore used on
IT (alike) products and an old 31 pin connector
today only used on power products).
