You're Sun 3/60 no longer has a viable battery backed RAM. There is a
Dallas NVRAM part (it has a big bar code on it) that contains, among other
things, the "Host ID" for your machine which identifies its architecture to
the kernel. See the Sun NV-RAM.FAQ for details on how to fix this. Last I
checked Mouser Electronics still sold the part needed.
