Personally, I prefer to use my WYSE VT100 terminal.. got it at the Daytom
HAMVention 2 years ago for $20 or $25 and it works great.. I've used it on
my p166 Linux box, my SparcII (now running Linux 2.3.4 kernel, yay!) and
on a modem when my computer has crashed.
