I left ANS/UUnet about a month back, before the whole thing goes under.

No, I did not find any neato IBM hardware while gone. In fact, no
computer hardware at all, really (except for the kind soul that sent the
IRIX stuff and 3090 book - payment goes out shortly.) Lately, the fun has
been with radio and radar acquisitions - most notably one of the surface
search sets from (probably) the U.S.S. California, and some 1930s radio gear
from the destroyer tender U.S.S. Altair (OK, it's probably the
furthest stretch yet to being on the topic of classic computers).

Meanwhile, my Sportster died (what a suprise), so I am using one of these
classic IBM 7855-10s at 9600 bps, and not having fun doing so...
