Computers in the media

And another for you.

Not sure if it would be considered "classic," but still a strange sighting
none the less. In the movice 'Hackers,' Dade Murphy was using a computer
that wasn't really a computer at all... it's sort of a lunchbox-style
device... the monitor/CPU is incredibly similar-looking to a TV that my
friend has... and the keyboard isn't really a keyboard at all. It's a
piece of cardboard. Slow down the film and you can see from a sideways
shot that his hands aren't even touching it -- all the sounds are added on
later. There is a realy keyboard for his "computer" later on in the
movie.. when he spray-paints it green and white.

Also, in thee movie 'Sneakers,' there is a shot of what looks to be a Cray
in strangle colors... but I'm not up on my Crays so maybe it's a Cray in
normal colors... oh well.
