Bit of trivia with 'Ghostbusters,' and also the series 'Stargate: SG-1.'

According to my spies, one of the first stops for the prop crew on
'Ghostbusters' was our very own Weird Stuff Warehouse in Sunnyvale, CA. I'm
told that the crew bought several pallets worth of widgets, so I'm not in
the least surprised that some 'classics' showed up in the movie.

And, last time I was at Boeing Surplus, I found a couple of 'thank you'
letters on the wall from the production crew for 'Stargate: SG-1.'
Apparently, Boeing provided much of the electronic hardware and other
goodies to build a couple of the sets.

Who says surplus is worthless? ;-)
