Yeah I know, win9x not so robust ditto to NT. That is why I'm
besreeching your truly on that list for your tips what books to get
to help me along on learning curve on that Linux.

Junk apps true!

I run 64MB on both machines and I feel it's bit small because I
multitask heavily. Fixed the swap space around 100MB.
I haven't put the updates on that original win95 because I'm
confused. There is 2 kinds. One is zipped in one file and
reasonable size and other one is in multi files over 10MB in size.

Few Comments:

MS is purposely killing win95 and 95a by going without USB and AGP
support updates. Secondly, to buy a straight copy of win9x cost all
your appendages appox 300. Thirdly, can get win9x with new
system for resonable cost. One place sells straight win9x if one
buys either or together, HD, Monitor or Motherboard. illegal?

Nuts that must have old dusty copies of win3.x or
straight copy of win9x to use that upgrade crap.

U got it. I don't either but when behaved well, it's good.
