This paragraph leads me to two questions:

Is there any relation between the manufacturer of these AES disks and AES
Data Inc. of Montreal?

AND

Is there any easy way to tell if a disk drive expects hard-sectored disks?

These two questions come together with my AES 7100 and its woes. Maybe
the system is fine, but the drive head doesn't seek because the media type
is wrong.
