Help: root password for System V/i860

Hi,

I just picked up an i860 box, which has System V on it ... and I don't
know the root password. If I interrupt the boot cycle at the start,
I get a prompt of "?". If I say "boot", it boots System V and puts me
at a login prompt. Is there a way to get logged on as root without
knowing the root password?
