OT: Semi-functional scope?

Seriously I think this discussion has found its own orbit. This is supposed
to be a demo of the sound the old synth makes, not how an old scope
works/doesn't work. The best that can be really hoped for with the scope is
a brief 5 inch green squiggle. Any of the decent sound software packages
running on a computer with sound input will show a full screen "capture" of
the waveform, plus at least two or three meaningfull analysis windows. I
don't see how you could demonstrate anything without the capture ability
only the more expensive old scopes had.
