While I agree the majority of programming positions are for people who
understand enough MS stuff to deliver product, places like FreeGate (and
now Tut) who do embedded systems that are more sophisticated than network
switches are all using UNIX oses. We've got three openings in the SF Bay
Area that we're trying to fill right now and its tough to get through the
noise.
