It is, as halmless as any other mild alcoholic drink.
I may destroy a successfull German marketing scheme, but
Jaegermeister isn't that popular over here as in the US.
Only during recent times (maybe 2-3 years) they push it
again, and it's getting popular again among young folks,
while most still associate it with old retired tastless
kitsch. Well, sorry :)

And for the basics, Jaegermeister is supposed to be a
Magenbitter, a kind of drink after a big meal to help
your stomach work ... There are a lot of other brands
around.

And BTW: During VCFe only beer will be served inside
the exhibitions, for alcoholic beverages you have to
wait for the evening - No, beer is not considered an
alcoholic drink - at least not here in Bavaria :))
