The CDP18S801 Floppy Drive System (RCA Cosmac badged but from Pertec) is
run off the parallel card of the computer. That seems to make them maybe
portable across different systems. I can't do much with the machine

I'd love to get a copy of the 18s801 floppy interface schematic if you
have it.
