It's not unusual for something that's ubiquitous and throw-away
to increase in value years after it was "carpet-bombed." Almost
everyone threw them away, right, like Monkees lunchboxes.
And to think I almost gave away my 18 inches of junk CDs to a
friend who wanted to use them to replace the ceiling tiles in
his rec room...
