HP 1631D logic analyzer help

I have an HP1631D. Mine has no analog scope capability. Maybe this was
an option which neither Jay nor I have? Perhaps this error is indicated
if the "scope" option is not installed?

I'd perform the same test to see the result, but my logic analyzer is in
storage. Sorry.
