Running GS/OS On an Apple IIgs

Any images written by a PowerMac (or "newer" Mac) will not load on a
IIgs. The versions of MacOS that run on these machines overwrite
several bytes of the GS/OS code as the images are expanded to floppy,
causing the UNABLE TO LOAD PRODOS errors. I ran into this problem
several years ago, and this was the explanation I was given on
comp.sys.apple2. An SE/30 worked flawlessly.
