RSTS/E BASIC Plus tapes to read

Whenever I leave stuff behind it always eats at me, so tell me if I was
wise or dumb. Qualstar (maybe Qualistar, Qualisomething) table top tape
drive, model 1005 (I think), about the size of a camp stove, ie 8" tall,
24" wide, 15" deep, vaguely SCSI looking cable, a button marked 3200,
couple other I don't remember. Very plain looking thing, anyway I left it,
was this good or bad? (I carried off a Vectra 5/75 instead).
