In that regard, the IIci is only barely a '90s Mac. IIRC it came out +/-
three months of when the SE/30 did.

But I think all 68k-based Macs except very early and perhaps very late ones
could handle 800K. Certainly all of the Quadras and Centrises that I've used
had no problem with it, but I didn't ever have occasion to use the last
few 68K models.
