Argh! TZ30 Question - Part 2

It could work like this (at least on the TK50) the leader pulls on the
tape, but the tape resists, then the leader rides up the center spool and
"flips" over the top, then the next time around the tape has a twist in
it. Never seen it though! I was rather pleased at the TZ30 I got as it
seemed a better design than the original TK50.
