Michael, you're an asshole.

#1 was sending out a message titled "FS: Heathkit EC-1" when you had no
intention of selling it.
#2 was forwarding private correspondence to the list where no one fucking
cares that I think you were not being completely honest in your email.

It wasn't like you didn't "know" about E-bay, after all you've got 102
people sending you feedback on how they liked the things they bought from
you there. And as a veteran seller you no doubt have researched what other
EC-1's sold for on EBay before you posted to this list.

So you deliberately trolled the list, perhaps to "generate interest" in
your future Ebay listing, and I think that sucks. I stand by my assertion
that you have no integrity.
