Two NICs in one machine - how?

I dealt with a similar prob.. Came down to both cards were factory set
to
hard IO/IRQ assignment. Just grab the 3Com config tools, set them to
0x280 and 0x300 IRQ 10 and 11(or whatever you have free).

Mine were both 529 tho..
