  *Some people* would be bashing on them right now. But I think most of
us would bash only if the Someone Else in question had the
commonly-criticized attributes of microsoft:

  - truly *bad* (though commonly used) products
  - wholly, blatantly dishonest marketing
  - near-criminal business practices
