Squealing CRTs

         Assuming the CRT doesn't have a crack in it, in which case it wont
squeal long, it sounds like a horizontal output transformer that is
vibrating at an audible frequency.
         You might try tightening any screws you find around the core of
the H.O.T. (With the power off and the circuit discharged.)
