I have to assume you are talking about the DEC Storage Works shelf. Correct?

The power supply lights are off, then you've got a dead supply :-) What in
the documentation clued you in?

That sounds about right for the SWorks shelf. Mine is marked BA35X-HA.

They are pretty standard switching supplies. If you understand the
electronics behind switching power supplies (basically transistors and
comparators :-) then start with the input side, then follow through to the
primary switch, the feedback loop, and then the over voltage/current
sensing circuits.

Well there was a guy on Ebay selling a couple and got no bids as I recall,
and I saw one listed on the Internet at Computer Clearing House for $28 so
they are available. I'd be happy to trade you one for a 4.3G SBB drive.
(disclosure: that's a trade in my favor if the list prices of PSUs and SBB
drives on various sites are accurate, since the drives seem to go for about
$100.)
