I don't know how it was when you went to high school, but when I went, we all
had a required course in "civics" which had nothing to do with HONDA engines,
but, rather, dealt with the practices and structures of our own governments.
Being a naturalized citizen, I had to learn this stuff twice, since it was also
on the exams for citizenship.

It's true that "Just because his brother is the governor of Florida doesn't mean
his brother was doing anything underhanded." However, the fact that he's a Bush
suggests that he could hardly have been doing anything else. It's in their DNA,
doncha know.
